Are looking for a way to get more involved in youth football?
Coaching youth football is exciting, fulfilling, and gives you an opportunity to teach skills to a new generation of players. Whether you’ve played in the pros, or have no experience at all, we believe that anyone can be a successful coach, as long as you are dedicated and passionate about it. .
Our organization determines success by how many of our players return the next year. More returning players means more players that had a great experience the previous season/year. It's our coaches that dictate what type of experience the players have. We believe that positive coaching develops positive character traits, and teaches life lessons in teamwork and sportsmanship, which is far more important than winning.
Duties of a head coach:
- Need to be able to work with kids ages 4 – 15 and teach them fundamentals of football.
- Be reliable and be able to volunteer for one day of practice, and one game each week.
- Be enthusiastic, patient, and persistent.
- Have some knowledge of football and its rules.
- Be able to communicate with league officials and parents.
- Be able to deal with issues that arise, on and off the field, at all practices and games.
- Abide by the "Coaches Code of Conduct"
